NEW Full time permanent role – Design Quality Coordinator – Sydney CBD as a base – up to 4 days in the office and wfh 1 day per week with flexibility.

The Role:
As a Design Quality Coordinator within our property development team, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our Design Quality Assurance Manager and Development Managers.
Your primary responsibility will be to conduct the design quality assurance process throughout the lifecycle of our capital works projects, ensuring adherence to Uniting’s design guidelines and maintaining high-quality design outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, review, and maintain Uniting’s Design Guidelines.
- Coordinate the implementation of the Design Quality Assurance Process.
- Provide support for innovation, industry research, and ongoing education and training initiatives.
- Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of design work to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
- Facilitate design meetings and support project development processes.
- Monitor compliance with design standards and provide feedback to consultants and project teams.
- Educate internal and external stakeholders on design guidelines and processes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Architecture or Construction Discipline with design & construction experience.
- Minimum 5 years of practical post-graduate design experience.
- Experience in medium density building design, with aged care or retirement living experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of accessibility and liveable housing standards.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
