Development Analyst – UK & International Solar – London basedPiper Maddox are working with a renewable energy company to add their next hire into their growing team. You’ll be stepping in as a Development Analyst to financially model, organize, plan, and communicate with their development team. Your role will see you doing the financial analysis for the major expansion of their current and new projects across each jurisdiction + new markets they are exploring.The main focal point of this position will be to financially model solar/BESS and supporting on next steps when projects get to RtB.What would your day-to-day role look like?:
Financial modeling and valuation of projects across the UK, and Internationally.
Supporting on transaction sales of solar projects.
Analyzing projects in CfD and PPA negotiations.
Reporting to investors/internals and managing budgets.
Working with the development team by preparing analysis and documentation to submit as part of planning applications.
Giving financial feedback to engineering team to ensure that solar design and grid connection configuration are optimized.What makes this company different to others in the space?:

2-5 years’ experience in relevant sector.
Financial modelling skills are a must.
