Position Overview
TOSC is seeking a Development Coordinator to support and advance our fundraising efforts during an exciting period of organizational momentum. This role plays a key part in implementing and coordinating fundraising activities across individual giving, membership, grants, sponsorships, campaigns, and special events.

The Development Coordinator works closely with the Executive Director, Board of Directors, staff, and external partners to help ensure TOSC has the resources needed to protect and enhance the places our community loves.

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising Coordination & Support

• Support the development and execution of fundraising strategies aligned with TOSC’s mission and annual goals
• Coordinate and implement fundraising activities related to individual giving, membership, grants, sponsorships, and campaigns
• Track fundraising progress and assist with reporting and goal monitoring

Donor & Partner Engagement

• Support donor cultivation and stewardship efforts, including acknowledgments, communications, and follow-up
• Maintain donor records, pipelines, and stewardship trackingAssist the Executive Director and Board with donor engagement and solicitation preparation

Grants & Institutional Funding

• Coordinate grant activities, including prospect research, proposal development, reporting, and compliance, in partnership with the Executive Director
• Collaborate with staff to gather program information, data, and narratives needed for grant proposals and reports
• Help track grant timelines, deliverables, and reporting requirements

Campaigns & Events

• Assist with fundraising components of campaigns and events, including seasonal appeals and special events
• Coordinate logistics, timelines, and materials to support successful fundraising efforts
• Partner with staff to ensure campaigns remain mission-aligned and well-executed

Systems, Data & Reporting

• Maintain accurate donor and fundraising records across databases and online platforms
• Support data tracking, donor reporting, and internal fundraising updates
• Assist with preparing development updates for leadership and the Board

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of fundraising, development, or related experience (or equivalent combination of experience)
• Comfort and enthusiasm around asking for monetary gifts to support mission-driven work
• Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage details, timelines, and multiple priorities
• Comfort working with data, tracking progress, and supporting reporting needs
• Interest in conservation, outdoor access, or community-based work
• Cultural competence working with people of diverse races, ages, genders, abilities, and economic backgrounds

Bonus Points For

• Familiarity with Front Range communities or the Colorado nonprofit landscape
• Experience supporting grants, campaigns, or fundraising events
• Comfort collaborating across programs, communications, and operations
• A sense of humor and appreciation for muddy trails, talking marmots, or creative stewardship campaigns

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $45,000-$55,000, commensurate with experience
