SCOPE OF THE WORK 

Specific activities will include, but not limited to: 

1. Conduct a thorough situational analysis to understand the context and challenges faced by female candidates in accessing financial resources. 
2. Review past fundraising experiences and assess their effectiveness, highlighting successful strategies and areas for improvement. Develop a business case for funding gender equality/women’s empowerment. 
3. Identify key stakeholders, including political parties, civil society organizations, potential donors, and private sector, and assess opportunities available to support women’s participation in politics and decision making. 
4. Review existing and potential donors and compile relevant information on donor requirements and guidelines such as the donor priority sectors, guidance for proposal writing and reporting. 
5. Develop a detailed action plan with clear timelines, milestones, and responsibilities for implementing the resource mobilization strategy. 
6. Create a monitoring and evaluation framework to track the progress of resource mobilization efforts and adjust strategies as needed. 
7. Submit a validated resource mobilization strategy inclusive of all components identified above, and other areas likely to be added during the analysis and consultation phases. 
8. Design and facilitate training sessions to build the capacity of relevant stakeholders in resource mobilization, partnership building, monitoring, etc.
