Position Summary:
A Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever Development Officer is responsible for advancing the organization’s mission through the cultivation and acquisition of philanthropic support. The Development Officer’s primary responsibility is to develop successful funding relationships that will help progress the organization’s strategic priorities. This is accomplished by working in collaboration with other team members, volunteers, and partners to develop new private, corporate, foundation, and public funding relationships and strategic partnerships with the goal of accelerating mission accomplishments through delivery of strategic fundraising initiatives, growing organizational revenue, diversifying revenue streams, and generating additional funds. The primary responsibility is to increase philanthropy by expanding a donor-centered pipeline of major donors ($10,000+), annual donors ($10,000+), and leadership donors ($100,000+).

This is a remote position in relation to our headquarters in St. Paul, MN, operating out of a home office, with extensive travel required. The candidate must reside within Kansas or eastern Colorado (Front Range of Colorado) or be willing to relocate to this region.
