Job description:
The selected candidate employed as an assistant will be obliged to conduct teaching activities in the discipline: Linguistics. In addition, the candidate’s duties will include active participation in activities related to the operation and promotion of English Studies and the Academy, as well as involvement in projects that improve the quality of education and the attractiveness of the educational offer. Activity of teaching in the amount specified in the Act of July 20, 2018, Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668), Art. 127, point 1.2, point 6.1, point 7 will take place within the field of English Studies and other fields, depending on the needs of the University. The selected candidate’s duties may include supervision of students’ internship.
The selected candidate’s organizational duties will include organizing workshops; participation in university/faculty committees and other projects related to the educational process.
Teaching duties:
The selected candidate will teach classes at the Faculty of Humanities and Administration of Piotrków University related to the position of a didactic assistant within the workload specified in the Act of 20 July 2018 Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668), art. 127, pt. 1.2, point 6.1, point 7 for undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students resulting from the curriculum, including cooperation with external, domestic, and foreign stakeholders.
Organizational duties:
The selected candidate’s organizational duties will include organizing workshops; participation in university/faculty committees and other projects related to the educational process.

1. Master’s degree in English Language Studies or in Applied Linguistics (major in English).
2. Availability.
3. Organization/Co-organization of didactic workshops or other events.
4. Willingness to teach extramural students (evening or weekend classes).

The candidates entering the competition are obliged to submit a statement that the Academy in Piotrków Trybunalski will be their main place of work.
Selection of the candidate is not synonymous with receiving an offer of employment from the Academy in Piotrków Trybunalski. The final decision regarding the employment, taken by the Rector, does not need to be justified.

2. Your personal data will be processed for the purpose of the recruitm ent process and, in the case.of employment, for the purpose of implementing the employment contract, social benefits provision, safety and organization of work.
3. The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is:
a) Article 6 Section 1 Letter c of GDPR, to the extent that processing is necessary to fulfil the legal obligation imposed on the Data Controller under the provisions of labour law and the provisions of the Law on Higher Education and Science,
b) Article 6 Section 1 Letter a of GDPR, to the extent that the data possessor has consented to the processing of his or her personal data,
c) Article 9 Section 2 Letter b of GDPR, to the extent that processing is necessary to fulfil the obligations and exercise specific rights by the Data Controller or the data possessor in the field of labour law, social security and social protection,
d) Article 9 Section 2 Letter h of GDPR, to the extent that processing is necessary for the purposes of preventive health care or occupational medicine;
4. Your consent to the processing of personal data not required by law may be withdrawn at any time without affecting the data processing that took place before its withdrawal.
5. Your personal data will be stored for the period specified in the legal provisions on archiving applicable to the Data Controller, and in relation to data not required by law, processed on the basis of your consent, until it is withdrawn. Application documents of persons not selected in the recruitment process, submitted in paper form, are to be returned;
6. The recipients of your personal data may only be entities authorized by the law and entities providing services on behalf of and/or for the benefit of the Data controller, based on concluded data processing entrustment agreements;
7. You have the right to access your personal data and rectify (correct) it. The right to request deletion or restriction of processing, as well as to object to the processing of your personal data, applies only if further processing is not necessary for the Data Controller to fulfill his/her legal obligation and there are no other overriding legal grounds for their processing;
8. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory body – the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, when it is justified that your personal data is processed by the Data Controller contrary to the provisions of the GDPR;
