Position Summary:

Provides medical nutrition therapy to patients, training and education to nutrition to hospital staff, physicians, residents and students. Assures compliance with regulatory agencies, including JCAHO, related to nutrition care standards.

Position Qualification:

Master’s degree (M.A.) or equivalent preferred; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Registered Dietitian with the commission on Dietetic Registration; licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist with the Tennessee Department of Health Related Boards; board-certified Dietitian in a specialty area (not required, but strongly preferred).
