Tipping Point

Tipping Point’s mission is to stop the mining and burning of coal and gas in Australia. We are justice centred, people powered, disruptive, momentum driven and we work to build the power of leaderful directed networks to remove key pillars of support that prop up the coal and gas industries, creating space for just solutions including a rapid and fair transition to renewable energy and land rights for First Nations people.

We believe that climate change disproportionately hurts the most marginalised people in society — including people of colour, people from working class backgrounds, women and LGBTQIA+ people. We believe that these communities must be centred in the work we do. Hence, we strongly encourage applications from people with these identities or who are members of other marginalised communities.

We are a national project of Friends of the Earth Australia.
