About the role:  

The Digital Campaigns and Media Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the design, development and delivery of digital campaigns that that amplify the impact of Deakin’s research, to build reputation and brand and generate demand for Higher Degree Research (HDR).

Reporting to the Manager, Research Marketing, this role will be tasked with developing strategies for digital marketing campaigns, including setting goals, defining target audiences, and selecting appropriate channels as well as working in platform to buy media, including paid social media ads, display ads, search engine ads, and more.

The successful candidate will be confident in conducting test A/B tests to refine and optimise digital marketing strategies and using various tools to get deep in data, to monitor performance and report on campaign performance

As a Digital Campaigns and Media Coordinator you will:

  • Plan strategies and execute comprehensive digital media plans across various platforms from conception to execution of full funnel strategies or tactical channel campaigns, with the big picture of each channel’s roles in mind
  • Conduct test A/B tests to refine and optimise digital marketing strategies
  • Oversee reporting and analytics, delivering insights on ROI, campaign performance, and optimisation strategies
  • Handle budget allocation and optimisation for performance marketing and digital marketing campaigns

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Experience in the implementation of integrated campaign strategies across key digital marketing channels, optimising and analysing performance and reporting campaign effectiveness.
  • Experience developing creative assets across digital and social marketing channels.
  • Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite such as InDesign or Photoshop.
