The Prevention Division aims to reduce the risk of cancer in the Victorian population through social marketing, advocacy, professional education and providing policy advice based on the best available evidence. This involves action to affect individual behaviours and the broader physical and legislative environment to support health and wellbeing.
Tobacco in Australia: Facts and Issues provides Australian academics, the media, policy specialists and political and departmental policymakers with the up-to-date and policy-relevant synthesis of facts, data and descriptions of program and legislative developments they need to ensure the earliest possible adoption of the most effective possible tobacco control measures in Australia.
About your opportunity
We are seeking a Digital Content Coordinator, Content and Training to join the Prevention Division.
Reporting to the Research & Policy Manager, Tobacco in Australia: Facts & Issues, the Digital Content Coordinator will:
- Work closely with the editors and writers of Tobacco in Australia: Facts & issues to maintain the website and ensure content is updated efficiently and accurately
- Lead continuous improvement of the website to maximise user experience and engagement
- Translate content into training and education materials to assist stakeholders and those working in tobacco control, including presentations, handouts, and training modules
- Plan and implement expansions to the website to embed training materials, such as slide decks, exercises, and quizzes
- Identify new digital opportunities, platforms, or technologies to enhance the reach and impact of the content
All about you
We are looking for someone with:
- Relevant qualifications or equivalent professional experience in digital content coordination/website management
- Experience creating training materials from existing content
- Advanced skills in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

- Base salary of $69,090 to $76,464 p.a. (dependant on experience, pro rata for part time) plus 11% superannuation
