Digital Campaign Analyst

We are looking for an experienced and passionate digital marketing analyst to work across a variety of digital channels. Working with the Senior Digital Campaign Manager and Performance Marketing Manager, this role will provide deep insight and recommendations on the week to week performance as well as helping to shape the future digital marketing strategy. This is an exciting hands-on and highly analytical role in the planned digital growth of the business. You will have a passion for all things digital, thrive off data & results and have a desire to work in a fast-paced retail business.

What You’ll Do:
In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:
- Work closely with the Senior Digital Campaign Manager and Performance Marketing Manager to analyse performance, identify trends and recommend strategic direction
- Build, own & develop the suite of digital marketing reports with a focus on data from performance marketing channels
- Regular weekly & monthly reporting with regular insight and recommendations on the performance of digital media channels
- Support in building forecasts from media activity utilising 1st party historical performance data and 3rd party planning tools
- Assist in developing a media attribution model that takes into account multi devices and multi step journeys to understand the impact each channel has to the business
- Collaboration with data scientists (in house and via media agency partners) to plan, measure and validate our paid media activity
- Work closely with external partners such as SimilarWeb and research companies to identify opportunities and strategic direction
- Use data sources and our listening platform to provide insights and shape our marketing direction
What You’ll Bring
Here at Primark, we want everyone to feel valued – so please bring your authentic self to work, of course with some other key experience and abilities for this role in particular:
- 4-5 year’s experience in a similar analytical role
- Degree in marketing, data science, business analytics, statistics or similar
- Experience with digital marketing measurement and tagging tools (such as GA/GA4/Adobe/GTM)
- Experience of data visualisation tools (such as Power BI / Tableau / Data Studio)
- Advanced knowledge of Excel functions, formulas & advanced features
- Experience and understanding of digital marketing channels (including algorithms and attribution)
- Working knowledge of phyton & SQL scripts and data storage platforms such as Big Query
