The City of London Corporation is transforming their SME strategy to align the service to the ever-changing needs of entrepreneurs and innovation. The Small Business Research + Enterprise Centre provide a wide range of services to help small business owners with their journey which includes business research data, business planning support and a wide range of events in their flexible workspace.To build on the success of the recent transformation and SBREC’s new location in a self-contained centre within the Guildhall complex, we are on the hunt for an innovative marketing assistant. This central hub is at the core of the emerging City Corporation’s SME Strategy and the promotional activities will form part of the SME Delivery Plan. There will be a wide of variety activities to work on including content creation, understanding digital marketing, procuring promotional items for our activities, and attending trade events.This position will provide a range of multimedia marketing opportunities alongside working with our customer service team and it is an exciting time to join the team as the events and marketing plans for SMEs are developed. This role will get hands on experience with planning and delivering multiple events and webinars as well as working with external corporate clients for room hire bookings.The ideal candidate will be a creative individual, have a high work ethic and be a team player.   • 16 or over by the end of the summer holidays
  • Living in England
  • Not in full-time education at the time of applying
