Position Summary
This dynamic position will leverage digital marketing and communications strategies to promote a positive institutional image with identified stakeholders in the St. Louis region. Through adept content development and curation across social media, the website, newsletters, and similar platforms, this role strengthens WashU’s continuous dialogue with community stakeholders and is critical to WashU’s ability to share the impact it makes in partnership with community with diverse audiences. Additionally, this role will strategically activate WashU sponsorships in collaboration with community organizations and university leaders, and support the marketing and communications needs of the St. Louis Initiatives team.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a marketing discipline or other related area such as business, journalism, or digital communications; minimum of eight years of work experience in online marketing; background in health care a plus; advanced work experience and knowledge in a broad range of digital applications, web-based IT programs and digital media opportunities, as well as internet, intranet, and digital asset management systems.

Salary Range
$52,000.00 – $88,800.00 / Annually
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one’s qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.

Pre-Employment Screening
