Our organization provides guidance and counseling to individuals interested in obtaining a rewarding outdoor career with government land management agencies and helps individuals navigate the complexities of the hiring process to improve employment outcomes.

Individuals who enjoy working independently and have a passion for preserving our planet’s natural resources will excel within this role. Successful Digital Marketing Intern candidates will have a creative and innovative mindset and will be comfortable working remotely.

Internship Responsibilities:

• Effectively develop, optimize, and execute a variety of digital marketing campaigns.
• Develop and implement a successful multichannel digital marketing strategy which may include email marketing, social media content creation, and website maintenance.
• Brainstorm new and exciting digital marketing strategies and present to relevant stakeholders.
• Work with relevant team members to develop and implement effective systems to track and analyze digital marketing data.
• Test digital marketing campaigns and strategies for effectiveness.
• Provide additional support with monitoring and assessing a variety of digital platforms and other performance metrics and/or benchmarks.
• Provide additional administrative and marketing support as required.

Unpaid internship

Requirements:

• Actively enrolled in a college program or a recent graduate
• Enrolled in a natural resource program is highly preferred
• Aligned and in support of the Life in the Wildlands mission
• Strong ability to work independently and within a remote setting
• Provide 15-20 hours of work for 6 months (June-November)
