- Salary: $109,375 – $118,750 PLUS super, depending on skills and experience
World Animal Protection is looking for a proactive and agile Digital Marketing Manager AuNz to lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of an omni-channel digital marketing strategy for our critical work across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.
This is an exciting role where the successful candidate will ensure a data driven approach is taken to target, engage and retain new and existing audiences by working closely with other teams to develop a compelling and seamless experience for supporters.
This role leads and develops the digital marketing team as well as proactively collaborates with colleagues in the AuNz team and around the world to ensure our wildlife, farming and growth goals are achieved effectively.

What will you be doing?
Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications AuNz, the Digital Marketing Manager AuNz plays a critical role in building awareness and engagement, to achieve our campaigning and growth objectives in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand to ending animal cruelty.
- This role is accountable for developing, implementing and evaluating the integrated digital marketing strategy across both countries.
- Managing, leading and developing the digital marketing team, enabling them to optimise supporter journeys for engagement, retention, and conversion across all channels, while ensuring an integrated, strong and consistent supporter experience.
- Overseeing the overall functionality and insights of a range of digital platforms and channels.
- The role is part of the ANZ senior management team and collaborates with colleagues on awareness and engagement objectives, deliverables, performance, and learnings of digital marketing projects.
Who are we looking for?
Essential:
- Significant experience (5-7 years) in Digital Marketing with management experience in a similar role.
- Experience in the development and execution of digital marketing strategies, writing comprehensive omni-channel marketing plans and data storytelling including demonstrated understanding of Google Marketing Platform products.
- Experience leading, implementing and operating digital marketing platforms and marketing automation tools such as Marketo and Optimizely.
- Experience in Direct Marketing, Direct Response, Social Media Marketing and Data Driven Marketing and Marketing Automation with expertise in channel optimisation and supporter/customer experience.
- Proven experience in developing and leading Test & Learn frameworks and driving engagement, retention and conversion rates across multiple channels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong time and project management skills and the ability to effectively manage collaboratively on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Team management and leadership skills to provide coaching and support to direct reports as well as collaboration with international colleagues, consultants and vendors.
- A strong track record as both a strategic leader and collaborator who thrives on finding solutions.
- Demonstrated budget management experience.
Desirable:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Business/Commerce/Marketing/Communications).
- Experience working in the Not for Profit/Charity industry.
- Experience working in both Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.
