About the opportunity

We are seeking to appoint a Digital Marketing Officer in the Office of Marketing as part of Student Services and Operations. The Digital Marketing Officer will be a critical member of the marketing team, coordinating the development of high-quality, strategically aligned digital campaigns to attract prospective students to the university.

The Digital Marketing Officer plays a crucial role in supporting the planning and implementation of digital marketing strategies to attract potential students through various channels. The role will be primarily focused on identifying effective digital campaigns with a focus on generating high-quality leads and applications through nuanced marketing and communications.

What you’ll do:

  • Support the planning and execution of digital marketing strategies across various channels, including social media, search, and programmatic display advertising.
  • Collaborate closely with other teams (including Marketing, campaign team, brand team, and agency partners) to ensure the effective delivery of digital campaigns.
  • Analyse data and report on digital campaign performance using relevant KPIs and metrics to make recommendations for improving future campaign activity.
  • Assist with coordinating campaign creative assets required for digital marketing campaigns.­

What we’re looking for:

  • A diploma level qualification in marketing/communication, and experience in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or digital media and education.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute effective marketing strategies and manage campaigns, preferably with experience in digital marketing or in the education sector.
  • Good knowledge of digital advertising platforms such as Facebook Ad Manager, LinkedIn Ads, TikTok, Google Ads, etc.) and analytics and reporting tools to measure campaign performance.
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
  • Numeracy, analytical and data management skills with the ability to problem-solve.

Salary details

Appointment to this role will be at HEO 5 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $99,698 comprising base salary within the range of $76,302 to $85,212 plus 17% superannuation.
