Role Summary:

As a casual Digital Marketing Officer, you’ll play a vital role in helping achieve our purpose through engaging digital communications. We are in the process of deploying a new brand strategy to be expressed through a new website and social media strategy. In this role you will be instrumental in bringing this to life and ensuring that every communication with our supporters is meaningful and draws them closer to the heart of our work.

If you’re a skilled digital producer with experience in publishing website and social media content, looking to employ your talents towards making a difference, we would love to hear from you. This is a casual position with a hybrid working arrangement based in our Sydney CBD office and remotely. On average, the role will be 1-2 days (7-14 hours) a week on an as-needs basis with scope for additional hours during peak periods.

Key responsibilities:

  • Digital production – assist with the design and publishing of digital content including social media, website and email communications
  • Working closely with the Content Lead and Head of Marketing & Communications, ensure every communication is on brand and brings Act for Peace’s brand narrative to life
  • Maintain Act for Peace’s image gallery and content bank, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s safeguarding policies
  • Administer the various marketing and communications requirements to ensure quality record keeping
  • Publish and update website content as required.
  • Assist with digital marketing campaigns on social media.
  • Assist the team with compiling digital marketing communications reports, capturing insights and provide learnings to improve future digital communication campaigns
  • Liaise with Act for Peace program managers and partners as required ensuring integrity of content produced
  • Work with key external suppliers as directed (i.e., digital agencies, printers)
  • Assist the Head of Marketing & Communications and Content Lead with other tasks as required

Success will be indicated by:

  • Successful delivery against key performance indicators, deadlines and objectives.
  • Positive feedback from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Annual reviews of performance against objectives.
