Founded in 2001, the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC) is Australia’s largest human rights organisation providing support to people seeking asylum. We are an independent not-for-profit organisation whose programs support and empower people seeking asylum to maximise their own physical, mental and social well being. We champion the rights of people seeking asylum and mobilise a community of compassion to create lasting social and policy change.

About The Role
The Digital Marketing Producer is a key role of the Brand & Marketing Team, responsible for managing and overseeing the organisation’s digital presence, including paid digital advertising, SEO, SEM, and web user experience. This role is vital for ensuring clear communication with various ASRC audiences, enhancing brand awareness, meeting financial goals through digital fundraising, and supporting systemic change for people seeking asylum.
This is a full-time role with a 12-month fixed-term contract for maternity leave cover.
About You
In addition to your qualification in tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or similar relevant experience working in digital marketing, the successful candidate will also possess the following attributes, skills and experience:
- Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, business, IT or other related discipline.
- Extensive, demonstrated experience in digital/online marketing and digital fundraising with expertise in running successful digital campaigns.
- Significant experience working with GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Suite, Meta Pixels.
- Strong understanding and experience in Google Analytics tracking and reporting (Goals, eCommerce, Events, Campaigns).
- Demonstrated experience working with Meta Ads Manager with experience in cost-per-conversion and lead-generation campaigns.
- Demonstrated experience working on CMS platforms, preferably, WordPress. Squarespace and Shopify knowledge is highly desirable.
- Significant experience working with marketing automation and customer journey mapping.
- Knowledge in SEO, including website auditing, keyword planning and understanding of SEO best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially storytelling and copyright.
- An understanding of or experience working in culturally diverse work environments.
Lived experience of seeking asylum in Australia is highly desirable. Knowledge of policy and issues impacting on people seeking asylum in Australia as well as previous experience working within a not-for-profit environment, would also be advantageous.
