About Aid Gate Organization “AGO”
Aid Gate Organization (AGO) is an independent, nonpartisan, national organization in Iraq whose history goes back to 2014 with the beginning of ISIL’s occupation in Iraq. At that time and throughout the mass conflicts occurring from 2014 onwards, ISIL groups took control of large swathes of the country, including Nineveh, Salah al-Din, Anbar, and parts of Diyala. This period witnessed an unprecedented wave of displacement for people who lived in these areas in addition to extreme human rights violations. With the Iraqi government, unable to provide much-needed, widespread assistance, many international organizations entered the country to facilitate a response. In doing so, local community members were actively recruited to assist in the movement and return of displaced people, while providing them with emergency life-saving assistance to meet their basic needs. Since 2014, AGO has been working untiringly to help Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), returnees, and vulnerable host communities for the implementation of whole-of-community resilience-building measures in Iraq. Today AGO is functional in Salah al-Din, Kirkuk, and the Nineveh governorates, with 50–150 employees, depending on the situation in the region. We are currently working on expanding our operations into the Anbar governorate as well as southern Iraq through proven programs to rebuild the lives of men, women, children, refugees IDPs, minorities, ethnic groups, and persons with disabilities.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Digital Marketing Trainer will be responsible for providing comprehensive training and guidance on online business promotion to project beneficiaries in Sinuni, Sinjar, Ninawa governorate.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop a structured training curriculum covering key concepts and techniques in digital marketing, including social media marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), content marketing, email marketing, and analytics.
- Conduct interactive training sessions that blend theoretical knowledge with practical exercises, case studies, and hands-on activities to enhance learning and skill development.
- Provide guidance on developing digital marketing strategies, creating compelling content, managing online advertising campaigns, and measuring performance metrics.
- Assess trainees’ progress through assignments, projects, and practical assessments, offering feedback and support to enhance their digital marketing skills and capabilities.
- Collaborate with project staff and external experts to organize guest lectures, workshops, and networking events to expose trainees to emerging trends and best practices in digital marketing.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of the training program on beneficiaries’ digital marketing knowledge, skills, and ability to leverage online platforms for business growth and promotion.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
- Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing strategies, tactics, and tools, with a proven track record of success in online business promotion or digital advertising campaigns.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex digital marketing concepts in a clear and engaging manner to diverse audiences.
- Practical experience in developing and implementing digital marketing campaigns across various platforms, including social media, search engines, and email marketing.
- Experience in delivering training programs, workshops, or seminars on digital marketing topics, preferably in a professional or educational setting.
- Familiarity with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in digital marketing, with a commitment to continuous learning and skills development.
- A passion for empowering entrepreneurs, small businesses, and aspiring marketers to harness the power of digital media and technology to achieve their business objectives.
Expected Outcomes: Upon completion of the training program, beneficiaries should be able to:
- Understand the fundamentals of digital marketing, including key concepts, terminology, and strategies for online business promotion.
- Identify target audiences, develop buyer personas, and create compelling content that resonates with online consumers and drives engagement and conversion.
- Implement digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including social media platforms, search engines, email newsletters, and content publishing platforms.
- Analyze digital marketing performance metrics, interpret data insights, and optimize campaigns to improve ROI and achieve business objectives.
- Apply their digital marketing skills and knowledge to promote their own businesses or employment opportunities, contributing to economic growth and digital literacy in their communities.
