The Centre for Digital Scholarship is a space and place for the Bodleian Libraries to engage, lead and shape discussions around digital scholarship practice and research within and beyond the University of Oxford.

We are looking for someone who has an interest in and understanding of, digital humanities or digital scholarship. You will be an excellent communicator, an independent worker, able to prioritise your work and the work of others, and able to adapt and take initiative in developing and delivering a programme of events.

You will work closely with Bodleian colleagues to develop new training in digital scholarship methods. With the support of a Digital Scholarship Officer, who you will manage, you will develop and implement a communications strategy for the Centre. In this role, you will have the opportunity to create and shape an innovative and wide-reaching programme of activities.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position, working 37.5 hours per week for 3 years. We can be flexible on a working pattern incorporating up to 2 days per week working from home, when there are not events running. Some events may take place outside of normal working hours.

You will be required to upload your CV and a supporting statement as part of your online application. Your supporting statement should list each of the essential and desirable selection criteria, as listed in the job description, and explain how you meet each one. CV’s on their own will not be considered.
