The Town of Franklin is seeking a dynamic Director of Conservation to lead efforts in protecting and managing the town’s natural resources. This leadership role provides direct support to the Conservation Commission, overseeing wetlands protection, open space planning, and environmental stewardship projects.
You’ll collaborate closely with town departments on trail development, open space preservation, and climate resilience initiatives—making a lasting impact on Franklin’s environment and community.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Natural Resource Management, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in conservation administration or environmental regulation
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
- Experience working with a Conservation Commission a plus
- Valid MA driver’s license
