Now, we’re seeking individuals with experience in development consultancy, particularly in land agency and viability/valuation/appraisal work, to help us continue our success story.
Role and Responsibilities:
You will play a crucial role in business generation, leadership, and project delivery. You’ll be tasked with managing junior team members, providing expert advice to clients, and generating fees through your exceptional skills and track record. Reporting directly to the Head of Development Consultancy, you’ll have ample opportunities for career growth and progression within our team.
Key Requirements:
- Proven track record in the Manchester and North West residential/mixed-use development consultancy market.
- Experience working with a diverse range of clients, including exposure to the Public Sector and quasi-public sector bodies.
- Proficiency in Argus appraisal software and knowledge of input variables for determining residual land value.
- Ability to justify property transaction structures that optimize development and maximize land value.
- Understanding of various disciplines involved in development, including viability, planning, funding, and procurement.
- Familiarity with affordable housing tenures, valuations, and dealings with Registered Providers.
- Knowledge of public sector procurement processes (OJEU/FTS) preferred but not required.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Established market profile with a network of senior contacts and a knack for generating new business opportunities.
