| Position Overview | This leadership position is directly responsible for the direction of the IT Infrastructure and Operations team, leads the development of university-wide infrastructure technology goals and objectives and leads the implementation and maintenance of supporting technologies. This position develops a university-wide investment strategy for advanced innovative infrastructure technology and actively develops and reviews university programs, processes, and capabilities to ensure that infrastructure technology programs and initiatives supports the delivery of functionality to accomplish the statewide mission of education, extension, and outreach. IT Infrastructure and Operations support university-wide services for the statewide data network, telecommunications infrastructure Internet connectivity and computer and storage services both on-premise and in the cloud.
