Cornelia Connelly Center (CCC) champions under-resourced girls,
empowering them to realize their full potential from middle school
through college and beyond. CCC offers a thirteen-year program,
partnering with each girl and her family from fourth grade to
college graduation. At Connelly Middle School of the Holy Child
(CMS), students in grades four through eight receive a joyful,
holistic education. After eighth grade, students continue their
academic journey with the guidance of the center’s Graduate Support
Program (GSP) which serves CMS alumnae, persistently committed to
their high school success and college completion. With Cornelia
Connelly Center, a young woman learns to shine – transforming her
life and our world.

CCC seeks a passionate and entrepreneurial Director of
Advancement to lead a comprehensive advancement program, including
individuals, foundations, and events. The successful candidate will
partner with the Executive Director, CCC’s fundraising consultant,
and Advancement Committee of the Board of Trustees to create,
execute, and continually refine a five-year strategic and
operational plan for advancement to raise $2.5 million and more in
the 2023-2024 fiscal year in an environment where the prospective
donor constituency is not immediately obvious.

In support of CCC’s joyful, holistic educational approach, the
ideal candidate will carry a portfolio of individual and foundation
prospects with capacity to make gifts up to $10,000. S/he will lead
the identification, engagement, cultivation, solicitation, and
meaningful stewardship of prospects and donors. The Director of
Advancement will assist in designing marketing and message
strategies to raise CCC’s profile, broaden the donor base, and
build enrollment for Connelly Middle School of the Holy Child. The
ideal candidate will be an active and visible role model for
students, graduates, and staff, modeling CCC values in actions and
words, and actively participating in the life of the Center. S/he
will have shared values with the missions of the Cornelia Connelly
Center and the Society of the Holy Child Jesus.

The Director of Advancement will report to the Executive
Director and serve on the Leadership Team, which is comprised of
the Head of School, Assistant Head of School, Graduate Support
Program Director, and Director of Finance. The candidate will
manage and mentor the members of the advancement team, including
the Advancement Associate, Grant Writer, and interns. S/he will
staff and serve as liaison to the Advancement, Events, and
Communications Committees of the Board of Trustees.
