DIRECTOR OF ANNUAL GIVING

dynamic and experienced individual to fill the role of
Director of Annual Giving. Reporting directly to
the Vice President for Advancement & Alumni Engagement, you
will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our institution’s
fundraising efforts.

Responsibilities:

                               

  • Oversee all aspects of the university’s annual giving
    initiatives, including email and direct mail solicitations, faculty
    and staff giving, Giving Teal Tuesday (CCU’s 24-hour day of
    giving), alumni membership drives, and various other appeals.
  • Lead a team of two annual giving professionals, providing
    guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of
    fundraising programs.
  • Spearhead the development, design, execution, and assessment of
    a comprehensive year-round fundraising program.
  • Collaborate closely with diverse university departments to
    define fundraising objectives, devise strategic approaches, and
    design initiatives aligned with both industry standards and the
    strategic plan of Coastal Carolina University.


Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree and related experience
are required. Experience in marketing/communication, alumni
relations, annual fund, or similar constituent outreach programs
and experience using Raiser’s Edge/NXT fundraising software are
preferred. Knowledge and experience using digital marketing
products such as fundraising website platforms, texting platforms,
Facebook Ads, Adobe Creative, Illustrator, etc. and familiarity
with fundraising/marketing techniques are also preferred.

Alumni/Development Manager I (CC30/61123283/FTE-S00985P),
full-time position with benefits.
SC State Pay Band: 06.
Salary range: $45,530.00 (minimum) –
$84,241.00 (maximum). Normal work hours are Monday through
Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Friday, 8:00 am to 12:30 pm. Must
be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the
university.  Must have the ability to work evening hours and
some weekends at fundraising events. Some travel is required.
