Reporting to the senior director of corporate relations, the
director of corporate relations in the Office of the Vice
Chancellor for Advancement engages with UIC faculty and leadership,
external corporate staff, and other constituents to secure
corporate support in the forms of philanthropic giving, sponsored
research and other corporate partnerships. Serving as liaison to
colleges on the UIC campus, the director meets regularly with
college-based Advancement staff, deans and/or leadership, and
faculty to understand college priorities, design strategic and
operational plans to build and manage corporate relationships and
align corporate interests with funding needs.
