Position Description:
The Director of Leadership, Football will assist and advise the Head Football Coach in all aspects of the football program, from player recruiting and development to game planning and strategy and will review functions of the department while providing leadership and growth initiatives for coaches, staff and student athletes. The Director of Leadership, Football will serve as an integral member of the football program while serving as an advisor with the entire football staff and student-athletes. The individual will work with coaches and staff on a daily basis to find efficiencies through objective measures using data driven decisions and also assist the head coach in alumni relations, fundraising, social justice initiatives and student-athlete development off the field. Incumbent will have a strong knowledge of college athletics, especially football and be able to positively impact the lives of those they encounter. Additionally, this position will serve as a liaison for the Head Coach, Football in many areas in the department, on campus, within the Conference and nationally through the NCAA and AFCA.
Special Instructions:
This is a contract, full-time position with full health benefits and membership in the UC Retirement Plan.
The budgeted hiring/target salary range for this position is between $8333.33 – $14,583.33 monthly ($100,000 – $175,000 annually), with salary placement based on skills, knowledge, and experience.
