Director of Leadership Giving and Relationships, Assoc
Dir of The Ferris Foundation – Ferris State
University. 

The Director of Leadership Giving and Relationships reports to
the Associate Vice President for Advancement and will secure
support for major gifts, planned giving, stewardship and
fundraising initiatives for the University and to increase overall
private support in West Michigan. Key to the success in this role
will be the ability to increase Ferris’ presence in West Michigan,
including Grand Rapids, and to engage key constituents in their
support and partnerships with Ferris State University. This
position will work closely with the Associate Vice President of
Advancement in managing a leadership portfolio of donors, prospects
and developing community-based initiatives and partnerships in West
Michigan. This position will also serve as Associate Director, The
Ferris Foundation. This position has a dual office reporting
structure that includes both Grand Rapids and Big Rapids.

Required: Bachelor’s degree with driver’s license. At least 7
years of progressively responsible and relevant fundraising
experience at university or comparable non-profit organization;
track record of organizing successful fundraising programs and in
soliciting and closing major gifts using a well-disciplined moves
management program; and inclusive, innovative and collaborative
leader who thinks strategically and is results oriented.
Demonstrated success in securing major gifts in higher educational
setting, or comparable non-profit environment.
