Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Director of Programs to lead and oversee a portfolio of initiatives that empower adults with disabilities. This leadership role will manage various progams. The Director of Programs will play a critical role in ensuring effective program delivery, growth, and alignment with the organization’s mission.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement program strategies that align with organizational goals.

• Oversee and evaluate programs to drive effectiveness and improvement.

• Lead, mentor, and support program staff, fostering a positive team culture.

• Build partnerships with stakeholders to enhance program reach.

• Manage budgets with financial accountability.

• Conduct needs assessments and evaluations to guide program planning.

• Identify and pursue funding opportunities, including grant writing.

• Report program outcomes to the Executive Director, stakeholders, and funders.

  Requirements

Requirements:

• 5+ years of program management experience in the nonprofit sector, with 2+ years of managing multiple programs.

• 3+ years of staff management experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, or a related field preferred.

• Strong program evaluation and budget management skills.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) is preferred.

• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
