About the Role

As the Site Manager of our Learning & Lifestyle Centre at Alexandra Hills, you will support our community activity services by following a person-centred support model to help our customers develop independence, confidence, self-esteem, and social interaction skills.

You will be responsible for end-to-end management of a community activity site creating a positive team environment.

Key duties will include:

  • Delivering strategy through building a capable, relevant, high performing and legislatively compliant workforce
  • Monitoring financial performance across sites including funding, billing, and operating expenditure in line with budget and strategic aspirations
  • Ensuring team members are fully trained and aware of individual customer requirements
  • Modelling safety leadership by instilling a positive safety culture and commitment to humanistic service delivery
  • Supervising a team on rotating roster cycles to maintain effective site operations and resolving issues
  • Ensuring sites maintain and protect the privacy and accuracy of records that include medical, workplace observations, absences, and progress notes
  • Assisting with the recruitment process, developing, and retaining a qualified workforce committed to social inclusion and establishing professional relationships with individuals

What will you bring?

  • Bachelor’s degree qualification in Human Services or related field is required
  • Disability experience, ideally management experience within the disability sector
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills and ability to grow relationships with team members and stakeholders
  • Problem solving skills, to successfully identify problems, develop solutions and implement these using a logical and systematic approach
  • Financial management skills including general finance and budgeting, profit and loss, balance sheet and cash-flow management
  • Ability to oversee operations that deliver high-quality and safe customer outcomes in a commercially viable manner
  • Ability to lead a team and key stakeholders through significant change
  • Possession of a current driver’s licence reliable motor vehicle
  • Knowledge of NDIS funding, frameworks, compliance and WHS compliance and commitment is preferred
  • Creativity – Develop and execute creative strategies that align with Endeavour and the individual’s goals

What clearances/checks do you need?

  • Hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check (Blue Card) & a NDIS Worker Screening Check (previously a Yellow Card)
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Willing to undertake a “Fit2Work” National Criminal History Check (should you be successful)
  • Open Driver’s License with comprehensive insurance and reliable car
