We currently have Accommodation services in Newcastle across Wallsend area for committed and passionate candidates who have availability across a combination of shifts, including morning, afternoons and evenings, as well as Awake Night shifts.
Your duties will include:
- Delivering personalised support in a group home setting by assisting clients at mealtimes, personal care, administrating medication and manual handling
- Supporting clients to make their own choices and build skills to be more independent
- Supporting clients to engage and participate in their community
- Building positive relationships with our clients
- Transporting clients, using CPA minivan, if applicable
Requirements
- Live locally to the locations mentioned above
- Prior experience will be highly regarded
- A current NSW Driver’s License (P2 minimum)

You will have comprehensive training throughout your orientation, with ongoing learning and development. This includes:
- Buddy shifts with CPA’s experienced Disability Support Workers
- Opportunity to complete a nationally recognised qualification such as Certificate III in Individual Support and/or a Certificate IV in Disability.
- We invest $5,000 in training in your first year
