EMBARK NOW on a deeply rewarding journey as a Support Worker in our Lifestyles team and experience the satisfaction by supporting your clients to overcome challenges, achieve their goals, and thrive in a supportive environment. These positions include day programs, outreach and community-based one-on-one support where you’ll have the opportunity to directly engage with clients, as well as providing services for clients and their families in their own homes.

We currently have casual positions across our Prairiewood & Liverpool sites, with possible travel to Blacktown, Rooty Hill, Castle Hill, Chester Hill, Granville and Casula.

*Note: whilst you will have a primary location during your onboarding, these roles will require travel to any and/or all above-listed locations.

You will have comprehensive training throughout your orientation, with ongoing learning and development. We invest $5,000 in training in your first year.

This includes:

  • Specialist training opportunities
  • Buddy shifts with CPA’s experienced Disability Support Workers

Your duties will include:

  • Delivering personalised support by assisting clients at mealtimes, personal care, administrating medication, manual handling etc
  • Supporting clients to make their own choices and build skills to be more independent
  • Supporting clients to engage and participate in the community
  • Building positive relationships with our clients
  • Transporting clients in our wheelchair accessible vans and pool cars

Requirements

  • Professional or life experience in a similar role preferred however your can-do attitude is key!
  • A current NSW Driver’s Licence (P2 minimum)
  • Travel to all locations listed above
