American Forest Management, Inc. seeks a skilled District Manager for its Arkansas District. Reporting to the Region Manager, this role involves overseeing 165,000 acres of TIMO and NIPF business in Arkansas and Louisiana. The District Manager will play a crucial role in managing existing operations, driving new business in forest management and real estate services, and supervising a team of 3 employees.

District Manager – El Dorado, Arkansas
AFM’s Arkansas District has an opening for a District Manager position reporting to the Texas Region Manager. The position is responsible for management of 165,000 acres comprised of TIMO property as well as NIPF ownership in Southeastern Arkansas and North Louisiana. It is also responsible for generating new business in forest management and real estate services. In this role a successful candidate will lead a team of 3 employees while mentoring, developing, and guiding them to achieve their career goals. Activities include internal and client budget preparation, timber sales and marketing, harvesting, reforestation, road construction and maintenance, contract negotiation, certification compliance, environmental compliance, and land sales support.

Work Environment
Office and remote field environment. At times works alone in remote forest lands accessed by private, unimproved roads where off-road driving skills are required. Involves working extended periods of time outdoors, sometimes in adverse weather conditions including summer heat and extreme cold
