Domus Recruitment are working with our client who are looking for a new Divisional Finance Manager, to oversee the South Region. Based from home, you will travel across Bristol/Devon for the first 6 months, however will then be fully remote, with occasional travel to local offices.
Our client can consider anyone that is full OR part qualified, can also consider people that are qualified by experience, with a study package ready to be negotiated.
Key Responsibilities of a Divisional Finance Manager:
- Take lead in ensuring that rigorous financial control is maintained within the Division, through robust budget setting, budgetary control and establishing effective relationships with funders.
- Experience of leading budgeting and planning exercises in a large and complex organisation.
- Excellent Stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft – specifically Excel.
- Data interpreter with reporting and analytical skills, strong value in the integrity of information.
- A proven track record of delivering results with resource constrictions.
Divisional Finance Manager Requirements:
- Full or part Accountancy Qualification ACA, ACCA, CIMA.
- Have experience in a senior role, working as a senior manager within a complex finance department, have a thorough understanding of financial management and financial accounting principles.
- Experience in working in a multi – agency and disciplinary environment.
- Appreciation for other people’s priorities – work positively around this.
- Significant experience of management accounting.
- Always encourages development and inclusion.
- Passionate about the United Response purpose, values & ethos.
- High level communication skills, verbal and written, ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with both Finance and non-Finance colleagues.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Ability to make decisions and use initiative in highly pressured environments.
- Ability to prioritise and delegate effectively – used to working towards strict deadlines and tight timescales.
- Ability to coach, motivate and influence immediate team and broader teams.
