Who are we?

Justice Center is a local non-profit, non-governmental Iraqi organization, formed in 2013, it works to protect Human
Rights to Iraqi IDPs, refugees, returnees, and host community, especially in legal proceedings. Our vision, we
advocate for social justice, freedom of expression, and developing community to articulate individual opinions and
assigns their duties ideas without fear of retaliation. Our mission, to work with marginalized and vulnerable groups
to overcome fears and social exclusion and reposition them in society by empowering and developing their capacity
to have access to their legal rights and all aspects of life.

Responsibilities:

• Visit and meet with beneficiaries in all areas of the target.
  Assessing the legal needs of the beneficiaries in all categories of cases, lawsuits, or compensation.
• Follow-up of cases referred to the Justice Center by individuals and organizations, received by mail and hotline.
• Receiving the beneficiaries’ issues, consulting with them, and implementing them free of charge according to the organization’s policy until its closure.
• Save and archive legal files following the organization’s working regulations Maintain confidentiality of beneficiary and Organization data.
• Implement all visits, awareness workshops, discussion sessions, and community monitoring.
• Develop legal materials provided during publications and announcements interviews and awareness activities.
• Respect human rights principles and comply with the policies of the organization, including but not limited to (code of conduct, anti-corruption, money-laundering, non-violence, sectarianism, counter-terrorism, extremism, and all supplier policies)
• Supervising the preparation of reports on time.
• Monitor, evaluate, and follow up on legal issues generally, and represent beneficiaries free of charge.
• High coordination, transmission, and receipt of data with protection personnel and departments associated with legal dep.
• Works under the supervision of the Legal Manager.

Requirements:

• Law degree from a recognized university.
• At least 3 years of experience in the legal field, and working with NGOs.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team.
• Good knowledge of local laws.
• One of the community members and Live in Yathrib.
