The Domestic Worker is part of the projects support team and part of the Logistic staff lead by the Senior Logistic Officer. The position requires:
Excellent cooperating ability, both with national and international personnel
Good spoken Arabic
Communicative, mature and responsible
General Responsibilities:
Work within the framework of NPA core values
Act as an ambassador for NPA, through professionalism and conduct
Adhere to all NPA policies, regulations and procedures
Maintain and care for all equipment issued by NPA and for any loss or damage, you will be liable for repair or replacement
Follow all verbal and/or written instructions, unless in direct violation of safety and duty of care
Ensure a safe workplace and protect all staff and equipment from damage/injury
Responsibilities:
Clean and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.) during the working hours
Monitor and notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
Conduct property maintenance or repairs as agreed with Logistics Assistant
Maintain garden and building surroundings tidy and clean
Prepare coffee or tea for guests when requested
Empty all trash bins and ashtrays inside and outside premises (before leaving for the day)
Wash all dishes as needed and before leaving for the day.
Adjust and minor repairs at the premises.
Maintain stock of office materials with support from Logistics Assistant.
Follow all health and safety regulations and cooperate with staff.
Perform any other duties directly related to the position, as may be required.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
Required Qualifications:
Must have:
Active and healthy demeanor.
Basic literacy
Desirable:
High school education or any technical skills.
Experience:
Must have:
1-2 years in a similar role / capacity
Desirable:
Experience in working with International NGO`s
