Vision Australia is seeking a dynamic and dedicated digital fundraiser experienced in leading donor acquisition strategies to join their passionate team. The Role:
As the Donor Acquisition Officer handling DRTV & Digital, you will play a pivotal role in acquiring new regular giving and single giving donors for both the Vision Australia and Seeing Eye Dogs brands.
Working closely with the Head of Individual Giving, you will lead the planning, development, and execution of innovative campaigns, including DRTV and Paid Media initiatives. Your strategic insights and data driven approach will be instrumental in optimising campaigns to maximise Vision Australia’s reach. This will enhance their ability to make a serious impact on the lives of Australians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Head of Individual Giving to establish objectives and strategies for acquiring regular and one-time donors through various campaigns, including Direct Response Television (DRTV) and Paid Media initiatives.
- Oversee the DRTV campaign, managing multiple key suppliers involved in strategy, creative development, media buying, inbound call management, SEM, paid social, and SEO tactics.
- Enhance online donation forms for optimal performance and alignment with acquisition campaigns.
- Create and maintain Test and Learn Plans to improve Conversion Rate Optimisation of online donation forms.
- Monitor campaign results and expenditures against budget, providing recommendations to enhance channel optimisation.
- Manage suppliers to ensure campaign delivery aligns with targets, including overseeing reporting, periodic evaluations, and ongoing discussions.
- Collaborate with suppliers and colleagues to secure content for effective campaign delivery, including TV advertisements and telemarketing.
- Boost campaign performance by training and motivating telemarketing fundraisers.
- Identify and implement testing and improvement initiatives in collaboration with the Head of Individual Giving to explore new opportunities within primary channels.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, fundraising or a related field.
- Proven expertise in fundraising and/or similar.
- Proficient in spearheading donor acquisition initiatives, particularly in DRTV or digital.
- Skilled in orchestrating multi-channel digital campaigns encompassing web optimisation, SEM, SEO, social media, and email.
- Data driven and skilled in being able to analyse data and provide meaningful insights.
- Demonstrated capability in formulating and executing annual marketing strategies and budgets, consistently achieving targets.
- Established track record of successful fundraising endeavours with a strong emphasis on generating income.
- A proactive, team player who can demonstrate initiative.
- Ability to manage stakeholder relationships, both internal and external.
- Strong project management and organisational skills to be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A passion and interest to work for the NFP sector.
