UNICEF Brazil is looking for a Donor Relations Officer to ensure a streamline donor relations process, including timely and high-quality donor reporting. The Office will be supporting in resource mobilization efforts, identifying entry and strengthening the engagement with private sector partners, especially high value donors, while providing quality reporting content development to enhance office performance, supporting UNICEF actions across Corporate areas and Programme areas, delivering results for children.
We are looking for a professional, with a track record in driving for results, providing risk informed, solution-focused analysis, advice, and services in resources mobilization contexts. The position is presential, based in Brasilia, reporting to the Corporate Partnership Specialist, and working closely with the Programme team.

How can you make a difference?
Under the Corporate Partnership Specialist supervision, the Donor Relations Officer works in Brasilia and is primarily responsible for the production/strengthening of evidence and result-based proposals, reports, and knowledge products. The incumbent assignment is sustaining support for management on the existing corporate relationships with major individual donors, foundations and philanthropists, with a strong focus on retention, working in alignment with the PFP (Private Fundraising and Partnerships Division) Regional Support Centre in LACRO (Latin America and Caribbean Regional Office); in close coordination with the programme team in Brazil Country Office to the fulfillment of the rights of children and women.
To qualify as a champion for every child you will have:
Education:
University degree in one of the following areas is required: International Relations, Communication, Business Administration or related fields.
Experience:
A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in account management, relationship management work is required.
Relevant professional experience in project supervision/customer experience is required.
A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience focused on areas related to donor relations, reports writing, and quality assurance of donor reporting is an asset.
Experience of results-based management and information analysis is an asset.
Previous work experience in the UN System highly desirable.
Experience in international organizations is an asset.
Knowledge and skills:
Strong relationship management/customer experience skills.
Strong writing skills.
Strong planning/organizing skills.
Able to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment, with high level skills in “working with people” in tight deadlines.
Language:
Fluency in English and Portuguese required. Knowledge of Spanish will be considered as an asset.
