and rally team support to meet fundraising goals.
You’ll be a part of a donor
relations team that’s focused on successful relationship management
and a clear donor focus. In this capacity, you’ll manage and
cultivate relationships with existing major gift prospects and
identify new prospects whose philanthropic interests align with our
goals. Your ability to empathize with people and communicate our
mission drives your success in this role. As a team player who
leads by example, you’ll energize our team, nurture our members,
and invest others in our mission-driven work.
You are a connector in the
truest sense of the word. Leveraging your successful track record
in developing trusted relationships, you’ll nurture a portfolio of
approximately 80 to 150 supporters with expertise and care.
Lead each step of donor
cultivation for current and prospective donors, including
identification, qualification through research,
relationship-building, briefing, request for support, follow-up,
stewardship, and recognition Develop individual donor
strategies to sustain and upgrade outright and planned gifts Attend and support Little
Traverse Conservancy-sponsored private events and community-wide
events through effective relationship development Connect with a wide range of
people in a diversity of ways
