For more than 30 years, the Humpty Dumpty Foundation has been helping hospitals and health services care for children by providing much needed medical equipment and initiatives that improve health outcomes.
Humpty’s mission is to raise funds to provide essential and often lifesaving paediatric medical equipment for hospitals in every corner of Australia.
Role responsibilities
Reporting into the Operations Manager – you will be a key player in a small team and have a focus on providing timely, friendly, and professional support to a wide variety of stakeholders (including Humpty’s donors, clients, partners, and suppliers).
- Be a first point of contact for incoming queries (which can be from donors, suppliers or other stakeholders) to the organisation – provide a fabulous level of service and high-quality communications in-person, over the phone and via email.
- Coordinate incoming/outgoing mail and courier services.
- Provide excellent donor service support, such as assisting with thank you letters and plaques (preparing weekly lists to action from the Salesforce CRM and conducting monthly audits), as well as provide ad hoc support with fundraising events, hospital tours and other activities.
- Maintain accurate record-keeping with the CRM (updating contact records, allocation of equipment donations and more).
- Support with ordering of equipment acknowledgement plaques and stickers, manage the distribution to donors, hospitals, and health services and manage relationships with other relevant suppliers.
Essential Requirements
You will be passionate about best practise customer service in every interaction, and you’ll thrive in a tight-knit, small team environment.
- Previous administration experience in a similar role is desirable.
- Experience working with CRMs (such as Salesforce) and Office 365 programs (strong proficiency with Word in particular).
- Excellent attention to detail across competing timelines and priorities.
- A growth mindset, with a passion for continuous improvement will be highly regarded.
