Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is a leading protection agency with a mandate to protect, advocate and promote durable solutions for displacement affected populations.
DRC has been operating in Ukraine since 2014, currently DRC employs over 800 staff in Ukraine and implements emergency response in the Protection, Livelihoods, Shelter/NFIs and Humanitarian Disarmament and Peacebuilding (humanitarian mine action) sectors, using direct interventions, support to duty bearers and civil society organizations (CSOs), and partnerships with CSOs. DRC will continue and adapt its durable solutions portfolio to the evolving context.
DRC is currently looking for a highly-qualified Economic Recovery Coordinator to join our team in Kyiv.

About the job
As the Economic Recovery Coordinator, you will lead the strategy and development of this portfolio, support its implementation through technical guidance, capacity building of staff and teams, and harmonization of tools and approaches across the country offices, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Economic Recovery data and information to support displaced and affected populations.
The overall objective of the Economic Recovery sector is to build the individual self-reliance and resilience of conflict- and displacement-affected people. The sector aims at addressing immediate unmet needs through direct assistance, while supporting people of concern as they strive to recover or develop new means to generate an income. We adopt a holistic, integrated and contextually adapted approach to support such efforts throughout the displacement cycle, with a specific focus on achieving food security, restoring decent and sustainable livelihoods, and improving financial inclusion.

About you
To be successful in this role we expect you to have at least 3-5 years of practical experience in Economic Recovery (Food Security, Financial Inclusion, Decent Livelihoods), working for an INGO. Moreover, we also expect the following:
