About the job
Overall purpose of the role: DRC Türkiye”s Protection Programme is currently partner-led, with a portfolio including Legal Aid, Case Management and GBV prevention and response, and an emphasis on Protection Monitoring. In addition, DRC directly implements an Economic Recovery programme with integrated protection mainstreaming across related activities. Under the technical supervision of the Protection Coordinator and the Advocacy, Analysis and Communications Specialist, the Protection Programme Officer will support with technical quality assurance, protection monitoring and communications. The officer will ensure up-to-date information on relevant protection trends, assist in protection monitoring and protection mainstreaming activities, contribute to coordination efforts, and create communication and advocacy materials as required. The officer will be responsible for providing regular protection monitoring updates and briefings to the Advocacy, Analysis and Communications Specialist and the Protection Coordinator, ensuring information feeds into DRC’s advocacy and programmatic priorities
