Driver – سائق

Main purpose of the job:

Performing the tasks of transporting authorized goods and passengers in an MSF vehicle, ensuring its technical and safety conditions and respecting the country’s traffic rules and MSF security rules, in order to provide a safe, smooth and efficient service.

Accountabilities:

–             Checking daily, the technical conditions of the assigned vehicle (state of the tires, oil, fuel, brakes, radio equipment, spare parts, etc.), performing weekly check according to the MSF Logbook, refilling it when necessary, and keeping it clean to ensure it can be driven in perfect conditions. Carrying out a hand over if another uses the vehicle.

–             Ensuring the security of passengers in the vehicle, driving carefully, observing speed limits and traffic rules in the country as well as MSF security rules, in order to avoid car accidents.

–             Ensuring all passengers have all necessary papers in order before travelling, and ensuring non MSF staff sign disclaimers of responsibility before using the vehicle

–             Ensuring correct loading and unloading of the vehicle, submitting the documents to the receiver of the goods, checking the status of delivered goods, returning the duly completed documents to Logistics and ensuring that the goods have the necessary documents.

–             Ensuring that all vehicle documents and the driver’s driving license are valid and in the vehicle.

–             Informing the line manager of any incident involving the transportation of passengers and/or goods.

–             Knowing how to use all types of radios, codes, call numbers and radio alphabets by heart and communicating with base according to MSF communications policy to inform the driver’s position and any potential implications.

–             Knowing and respecting the security rules related to vehicle movements, specifically those related to customs, checkpoints and roadblocks. Ensuring all Passenger know and respect the security rules.

Specific requirements for the role:

–             Good eye vision and Good knowledge of country roads

–             Desirable experience with specific vehicles to use (4×4, vans, etc.)

–             Desirable experience in MSF or other International NGOs

–             Desirable knowledge of basic mechanics

–             Good knowledge of mission area roads

–             Results and Quality Orientation, Teamwork and Cooperation

–             Behavioural Flexibility and stress management

–             Commitment to MSF Principles

–             Good communication skills with radio operator and when reporting to supervisor.

–             perform daily / weekly checks of cars.

–             Perform cleanliness of the cars.

 

الهدف الرئيسي من العمل:

تأدية مهمة نقل البضائع المرخص لها وركاب في مركبات منظمة اطباء بلا حدود والتأكد من سلامة حالتها التقنية واحترام انظمة المرور للبلد وقوانين الامن في منظمة اطباء بلا حدود لغرض توفير خدمة امنة،سلسة وفعالة

المسؤوليات:

• التأكد يوميا من الحالة التقنية للمركبة المعنية (حالة الاطارات،الزيت ,المكابح ,معدات الراديو ,الاجزاء الاحتياطية , الخ) اداء الفحص الاسبوعي حسب السجل اللوجستي التابع لمنظمة اطباء بلا حدود , تعبئة الوقود عند الحاجة , والحفاظ على نظافتها لضمان قيادتها وهي في حالة مثالية .عمل تسليم عندما يقوم شخص اخر بقيادة المركبة
• والتأكد من سلامة ركاب المركبة، القيادة بحذر، مراقبة حدود السرعة وقوانين المرور في البلاد وكذلك قوانين الامن لمنظمة اطباء بلا حدود، لغرض تفادي وقوع حادث سير.
• التأكد من ان جميع الركاب يحملون الاوراق الرسمية الضرورية منظمة قبل المغادرة، والتأكد من توقيع الركاب الغير تابعين لمنظمة اطباء بل حدود اخلاء مسؤولية قبل استخدام المركبة.
• ضمان تحميل العربة وتفرغها بصورة صحيحة،تقديم المستندات الى مستلم البضائع , ضمان حالة البضائع المسلمة , اعادة المستندات المكتملة كما ينبغي الى الفريق اللوجستي وضمان ان البضائع تحمل المستندات الضرورية.
• ضمان ان جميع مستندات المركبة ورخصة قيادة السائق صالحة وفي السيارة.
• اعلام المدير المباشر بأي حادث يخص نقل الركاب او والبضائع.
• معرفة استخدام جميع انواع الراديوهات، الرموز يحفظ الارقام وابجدية الراديوهات عن ظهر قلب والتواصل مع القاعدة حسب قوانين منظمة اطباء بل حدود للتواصل للاعلام بموقع السائق واي اثار محتملة.
• معرفة واحترام القوانين الامنية المتعلقة بحركة المركبات، خصوصا القوانين المتعلقة بالتقاليد، نقاط التفتيش، وحواجز الطريق. ضمان ان جميع الركاب يعرفون ويحترمون القوانين الامنية.

متطلبات خاصة في الدور :

• رؤية جيدة ومعرفة جيدة بالطرق الريفية.
• يفضل ان يكون لديه خبرة في قيادة مركبات محددة لاستخدامها ( 4×4 ، شاحنات ، إلخ).
• يفض ان يكون لديه خبرة عمل مع منظمة أطباء بلا حدود أو منظمات غير الحكومية الدولية الأخرى.
• يفضل ان يكون لديه معرفة فيما يخص أساسيات الميكانيك.
• ان يملك معرفة جيدة بالطرق في منطقة البعثة.
• النتائج وجودة التوجيه والعمل الجماعي والتعاون
• المرونة السلوكية وإدارة الإجهاد
• الالتزام بمبادئ منظمة أطباء بلا حدود
• مهارات تواصل جيدة وتقديم التقارير إلى المشرف ومشغل الراديو.
• إجراء فحوصات يومية / أسبوعية للسيارات.
• الحفاظ على نظافة السيارات.

Requirements

Education:          –             Essential secondary school education and valid driving license. Good knowledge of country roads

Experience:        –             Essential 2 years minimum of previous driving experience

–             Desirable experience with specific vehicles to use (4×4, Minivan, etc.). Desirable in MSF or other NGOs

Languages:         –             Essential Arabic, English is added value

Knowledge:        –             Desirable knowledge of basic mechanics. Good knowledge of mission area roads

الخبرة الأساسية للقيادة على الأقل خبرة سابقة لمدة سنتين

تجربة مرغوبة مع مركبات محددة الاستخدام(4×4,حافلة صغيرة وما الى ذلك)

اللغات الأساسية العربية، الإنجليزية هي قيمة مضافة.

معرفة: المعرفة المرغوبة بالميكانيكا الأساسية. معرفة جيدة بطرق منطقة المهمة
