I- OPPORTUNITY

The driver will be responsible for the transportation of Plan International’s personnel and goods, as well as running internal errands. He/she will also be in charge of external mail distribution, daily vehicle maintenance and supervision of vehicle repairs. He/she will also be responsible for technical supervision of oil changes, technical inspections and vehicle insurance renewals, and for fill in vehicle logbooks, and keeping the vehicle logbook.

II- ABOUT YOU

The Driver must have at least a BEPC or CAP, and a valid category D driving license. He or she must have at least five (5) years’ driving experience and a thorough knowledge of the roads in the Far North region. Experience of working with humanitarian NGOs would also be an advantage, as well as basic motor mechanics skills (these will be tested). He or she should have a good knowledge of the highway code; as well as professionalism and politeness as an asset.
