Job title: Depot Technician
Rate: £14.55 per hour + overtime at 1.5x hourly rate and on-call retainer paid at Mon-Thurs £20 each day and Sat, Sun, Bank Hols – £50 each day.
Location: Castleford
Start date: ASAP
Contract duration: 3 months initially with option to go permanentEmbark on a fulfilling journey as a Depot Technician, supporting the area and regional teams in delivering, collecting, and offering essential training on medical devices to a diverse customer base.Your Role:As a Depot Technician, you’ll take charge of delivering and installing equipment, providing hands-on instruction to ensure full functionality, and familiarising users with operating and emergency procedures. Comprehensive training will be provided to enhance your skills. Additionally, you will collect used equipment from customers and hospital sites, adhering to stringent infection control procedures. Respond swiftly to field breakdowns, exchange faulty products, and diligently complete all necessary documentation.Desired Experience:

• Highly desirable experience in delivery and/or installations
• Preferred background in medical devices/healthcare environments
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with various customers
• Basic understanding of engineering principles
• Proven ability to work independently, multitask, and meet deadlines
• *Must have Full UK Driving License*

Expected salary

£55 – 14.55 per hour
