Job Summary:
The Transport Driver is responsible for transporting project staff from their residences to work sites and back, ensuring the safety of the employees during transit.
Key Responsibilities:

Fuel and Vehicle Maintenance Costs:
The first party is responsible for covering the costs related to the use of the vehicle, including fuel (gasoline), oil, etc. -
Repairs and Damages:
The second party is responsible for all repairs or damages incurred from the use of the vehicle, including any accidents that may occur during work or any breakdowns caused by unforeseen circumstances, such as security conditions or road hazards. -
Provision of Replacement Vehicle:
The second party agrees to provide a replacement vehicle with the same specifications in the event of a vehicle breakdown. If the second party fails to provide a replacement, they will bear the cost of renting a similar vehicle, including any associated rental fees. -
Transporting Project Staff for Field Visits:
The Transport Driver will transport project staff to carry out required field visits according to a schedule set by the project management. -
Adherence to Code of Conduct:
The Transport Driver must comply with the code of conduct of the Iraq Health Access Organization (IHOS), which is attached to the signed contract. -
Other Duties:
The Transport Driver will undertake any other tasks assigned by the organization’s management.
Reporting Structure:
- Reports directly to: Logistics Team
- Works directly with: Community Mobilizer, Case Manager, Social Researcher
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
Knowledge and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or a relevant field of study.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Excellent proficiency in Arabic and English (both spoken and written).
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email communication.
- Prior experience working with a non-governmental organization (NGO) is highly desirable.
