Do you have an interest in creating virtual reality scenarios, immersive technologies, and software for video games? Do you have good programming skills? Would you like to develop the next generation software for a world-leading set of immersive, human-in-the-loop simulators, working with academics in a research-oriented and multi-disciplinary environment?
The Human Factors and Safety Group at the Institute for Transport Studies (ITS) is seeking to appoint a programmer to join a small team undertaking research in road safety and new technologies, at Virtuocity . The programmer will develop simulator scenarios and take the in-house developed software used by the simulator to the next level. They will also be involved in post processing the data for analysis.
