Here’s where you come in:

As Dry Corridor CA4 Cluster Strategic Initiative Manager, you will provide leadership and management, promote relationship-building and positioning of the Dry Corridor initiative in Central America, providing guidance and strategic advice for the achievement of the objectives and goals set until 2030.

Requirements include:

• Master’s or Doctorate in Social Sciences, Engineering, with a specialization in natural resource management and/or environmental risks, or other related fields.
• 5 years of experience in managing sub-regional environmental programs and projects.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in interaction and work in the field of environmental management at the Central American level.
• 2 years of experience leading multidisciplinary and multinational teams.
• Management of environmental programs and projects at the sub-regional level.
• Interaction with international financing organizations, United Nations agencies, and other relevant international bodies.
• Engagement with high-level stakeholders, both national and international, public and private.
• Lobbying and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of the political, social, economic, and environmental context of the CA4.
• Proficiency in driving four-wheel-drive vehicles.
• Fully fluent in English (Indispensable and Non-negotiable Requirement).
• Availability for domestic and international travel.
