Candidates with significant employment gaps may not be considered.Key Responsibilities:Duty Rota: The selected candidate will be part of a sub-team on a duty rota once every 5 weeks.
Case Handling: Responsible for case-holding Child in Need (CIN) cases and initiating Child Protection (CP) and Public Law Outline (PLO) processes.
Location: Based in our Blackburn office in the town center with hybrid working arrangements, requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in-office presence.
Candidate Requirements:Qualifications: Social work degree or equivalent qualification.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in childrens services.
Registrations: Current Social Work England (SWE) registration and enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Skills: Proficient in IT, excellent communication, team player, ideally familiar with Liquid Logic Childrens system.
Transport: Car driver with daily access to own vehicle.
