HR Operations (PACSO), which is part of PAC Employment Policy, Compensation & Systems, currently operates in Washington, DC and Chennai, India to provide a wide range of HR services to World Bank Group (WBG) staff, consultants, dependents, and retirees. These services include front line HR processing and consultation support on HR policies and procedures via telephone, email, and virtual consultations.

Services include, but are not limited to, the processing and consultative support related to the WBG G-Visa work program as outlined in the duties and accountabilities below.

Additionally, PACSO collaborates closely with its HR delivery partners and other key stakeholders for seamless request resolution. PACSO provides global support to its client base and candidates must be willing to work flexible hours.

Duties and Accountabilities

• Serve as point of contact for G4 visa related inquiries.
• Conduct weekly virtual consultations with staff on varying visa issues.
• Provide support on quality control for relevant visa processes.
• Process requests for various processes (review forms for accuracy, verify eligibility, validate/request appropriate supporting documentation and update relevant HR and government systems) providing back-up support as needed while maintaining SLA.
• Exercise fulfillment of transaction activity by ensuring adherence to departmental, institutional and federal agency guidelines regarding incoming and outgoing documentation in relevant systems.
• Demonstrate accountability with respect to prioritizing assignments and ensuring effective handling and completion of work.

 

Selection Criteria

Required:
• Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in business administration, human resources, or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience;
• Ability to effectively communicate service delivery issues / recommendations to management both within and outside of PACSO Team.
• Excellent reading, writing, and listening skills. Strong English language skills (verbal and written), including ability to draft a variety of correspondence and edit materials using proper grammar, punctuation and style.
• Analytical ability, practical problem-solving skills and resourcefulness in performing varied tasks
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and deliver assignments in a timely manner often under time pressures.
• Strong inter-personal skills and commitment to work in a team-oriented, multi-cultural environment.
• Ability to develop / maintain business relationships necessary for the team to fulfill service delivery requirements.

Preferred:
• Ability to use Microsoft office tools (i.e. MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
• PeopleSoft (preferably v9.2), Case Management System
